Assembling of the Decks
After coming out of the deck mold, the deck is transported to the CNC room. The CNC cutter accurately pretap and drill all areas of the deck where winches, cleats, rails and deck fittings will be installed. This automated process takes less than an hour. Once the deck is done, it is taken to another area where backing plates are fiberglassed in for winches and rigging, then a layer of coring is fiberglassed in between the headliner and the deck and then finally fitted together. The deck is now ready to be fitted on to the hull.
